Summer Masterclasses with Chef Barry Johnson

Rococo Chocolate School is hosting a series of summer Masterclasses at our 5 Motcomb Street shop & kitchen, led by Barry Johnson, our Principal Chocolatier and Captain of Team GB for “Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie”.

Saturday 7th June, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Tempering Chocolate, £185

This course will teach you the fundamentals of the production of chocolate, working with chocolate and how to appreciate good chocolate. This course covers chocolate tempering, making solid chocolate figurines, decorations and tips for recreating the idea’s at home! After the class, Barry will guide you through a tasting, handpicked from our Couture range of ganaches.  Includes a goody bag.

Saturday 7th June, 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm The Perfect Truffle, £185

The natural progression from our Tempering Chocolate class, this next step elaborates on how to make a chocolate truffle. Find out which ingredients work best and by the end of the course you will have your own selection of hand-made chocolate truffles to take home! After the class, Barry will guide you through a tasting, handpicked from our Couture range of ganaches.  Includes a goody bag.
