Rococo Chocolate School is Back in Session

Start the new year off  right by attending one the many classes offered at Rococo Chocolate School.  We have a full range of classes for all abilities and offer a fun way to learn about chocolate. The events calendar is the best place to look for up-to-date offerings from Rococo Chocolate School.

Here is what we have in store for January:

TEMPERING CHOCOLATE MASTER CLASS, Saturday 19th January 10am-1pm, This course, led by principal chocolatier Barry Johnson, offers an in-depth introduction to tempering chocolate.  The hands-on class is limited to four students, to  allow for direct instruction from our ‘prof du chocolat’.

THE PERFECT TRUFFLE MASTER CLASS, Saturday 19th January 2.30-5.30pm.  This is a great continuation from the tempering master class.  Principal Chocolatier Barry Johnson will teach you how to make your own ganache. You will  finish the class by rolling, coating and dipping your own truffles.  Due to the limited number of students, this class is currently SOLD OUT.

TRUFFLE ROLLING WORKSHOP, Sunday 20th January 12 – 1.15pm & Thursday 31st January 6.45-8.00pm.  This course, suited for all abilities, is a great introduction to working with chocolate. Each student will roll, dip and coat their way to making a fresh truffle.

BASIC CHOCOLATE TASTING, Wednesday 23rd January 6.45-7.45pm.  Attendees of this course will learn how chocolate is made and the correct procedure for tasting.  The chocolates tasted will include single origin bars, Rococo Artisan Bars and a selection from our award-winning fresh ganache collection.

TEEN CHOCOLATE WORKSHOP, Wednesday 30th January 4.30-5.30pm. Is your son or daughter confident in the kitchen but looking for instruction on how to work with chocolate?  This is the course for them.  All students will leave with a sample of the recipes prepared and the ability to recreate them at home.
