Flashback Friday: the first Rococo Easter egg?

This snap was taken at our 30th birthday party in Moxon Street earlier this year, when Chantal gathered together photos and memories spanning her whole life to display.

We particularly like this school exercise book from the Anglo-American school in Kuwait in 1969. It appears that both chocolate and pretty packaging were already on her mind as a child, and she was already designing in our blue and white colour scheme. Does this count as the very first Rococo Easter egg?

The larger book behind is an early Rococo sales ledger. Before computers were widespread, she had to write down every item they sold and tot up the sales every day, and it looks like truffles were the order of the day for Mother’s Day that year. The shop staff are very thankful they don’t have to count sales manually today!
