Have a heart and help charity

Artisan chocolatier Rococo Chocolates will be matchmaking for sweethearts by writing personal love messages on chocolate hearts and placing them in the shop window.

Shop manager Annie McNicholl said: “We’re expecting lots of chocolate lovers to surprise their special someone with a romantic Valentine’s message on a Rococo Chocolates heart.

“Our shop, right at the front of The Chester Grosvenor, is in one of the most romantic spots in Chester – just under the Eastgate clock in 91e heart of the city. .

“Not only will lovers get the chance to woo their sweetheart but they’ll be raising much- needed funds for a fantastic charity at the same time.”

Rococo Chocolates opened in Chester last spring – the company’s only shop outside London.

Last year the shop raised more than £450 for the Multiple Sclerosis Support Centre.

‘As a predominantly London-based brand, Rococo has been welcomed with open arms here in Chester and we are now finding ways to support the community by giving a little back,” said Annie.

“This is a fun and romantic start to this year’s charity appeal.”

Multiple Sclerosis Support Centre manager Jane Johnston-Cree said:

“We’re delighted Rococo Chocolates is continuing its support for our charity.

“Every penny raised will be spent on helping improve the lives of our members who are living with the condition.”
