Winner of Chocolatier of the Year 2011 at the Academy of Chocolate Awards, Rococo Chocolates is known for its eclectic, delicious and sometimes eccentric chocolates, beautifully packaged, served with love and humour. In 1983 Chantal Coady decided there was room for a radically different approach to chocolate, one imbued with originality and romanticism that would treat the senses. Armed with a little knowledge and a dangerous passion for chocolate, she decided to open her first chocolate paradise in London’s Kings Road. In 2002 Chantal discovered the chocolate from the Grenada Chocolate Company, a solar-powered organic tree-to-bar maker. When a cocoa farm came up for sale in 2007 it offered the perfect opportunity for a joint venture between Rococo and the GCC to produce fairly traded, ethical chocolate. All of the organic products made from the Rococo House Blend chocolate contain beans from this farm in the recipe.
