The Orange Public House & Hotel: review – Telegraph

In the heart of London’s Pimlico, a short walk from both Victoria and Sloane Square Tube stations. The shops of the King’s Road are but a hop, skip and a jump away, as is the home of the Chelsea Pensioners, and the beautiful Chelsea Physic Garden.

The decor is very cosy country – original floorboards, whitewashed wardrobe, a desk on which you will find Rococo chocolates and quirky books. The bed was huge, extraordinarily comfortable and swathed in the finest linen this girl has ever slept in. The barn-style ceiling was so high that the room could easily have been turned into a mezzanine. The only downside was the lack of a bath – only one of the four rooms has a tub.
