This year for Chocolate Week, we’re bringing our ever-popular Tasting Thursday pairings into the spotlight. To go alongside our exciting calendar of evening tastings, including meat and chocolate with the Ginger Pig, we’re showcasing a pairing each day in all of our London and Chester shops.
Each shop will feature something different each day to tempt you, pairing everything from tea to cheese with our award-winning chocolates.
Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th October: Try our organic luxury drinking chocolate with a range of spices, with a different blend in each shop. Head to Belgravia for a Brave New World with cinnamon, caramel, chilli, cloves and sea salt packing a sweet and spicy punch. Chelsea’s refreshing mint hot chocolate has a hot kick of chilli at the end and Marylebone is warming cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and clove with a pinch of pepper to get ready for Halloween.
Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th October: Try our favourite cheese and chocolate combinations, with a different cheese in each shop.
Friday 16th and Saturday 17th October: We’ll have some wonderful Matugga Rum to match with some award-winning Rococo classics.
Our Chester shop, set in the beautiful Grosvenor Hotel, is working with local producers to bring you:
Monday 12th October: Try our organic luxury drinking chocolate with a range of spices to blend your own spiced hot chocolate.
Tuesday 13th October: We will be creating an amazing pairing of our chocolate with cheese from The Cheese Shop.
Wednesday 14th October: We’re recreating an Aztec favourite perfect for anyone who likes heat, try our chocolate-dipped chillis.
Thursday 15th October: An unexpected favourite for those who like salt and sweet combinations, try chocolate with streaky bacon.
Friday 16th October: Teaming up with the London stores, Chester will also have some Matugga Rum to match.
Saturday 17th October: Bernadine of Quinteassential will be in store brewing up a storm, matching two of her favourite teas with chocolate.
We’ll also be at The Chocolate Show at Kensington Olympia from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th October, with Chocolate Fashion Shows, sculptures, demonstrations and of course even more tastings.
