“I’d like to nominate my parents. They’re a pair of hopeless romantics who’ll be celebrating their 43rd wedding anniversary later this year. There’s a running joke in the family that they’re a bit like a double act because you never see one without the other. They’ve never been apart in all the time they’ve been married. Dad’s laid-back and easy-going. Mum never sits still and is always doing what she calls ‘pottering’, but they’re a perfect match. They don’t show their love with lavish gifts or grand gestures. Instead, Dad always brings mum cups of teas without asking, and she always cuts the crusts off his sandwiches because that’s the way he likes them. All proof that it’s the little things that matter, and that keep us together.”

We’ve extended the deadline to nominate the most romantic couple you know. The winning couple and the person who nominated them will receive a box of Rococo Chocolates for Valentine’s Day. Entries are due Monday 11th February by 5pm!

I’d like to nominate my 2 gorgeous friends. They first got together when they were just 14 but went their separate ways in high school. 10 years later they met by chance and rekindled their romance and are like love-struck teenagers all over again. It’s wonderful to see them both so happy and getting a house together this year. First love, last love, true love. xxx

I would like to nominate my daughter and her boyfriend. They are the ultimate romantic couple. They gaze into one another’s eyes, they have a coded ‘love’ language and are intertwined whenever I see them. They are just in their 30s and have waited several years to find true Love
They are kind to one another in words and actions, they talk, laugh a lot, and are willing to compromise and accommodate one another.
Their smiling faces shine as bright as the sun

Their love waves float through every form of communication they use, phone lines, computer, social networking and linger around them always. Sincere, warm and pure like pillows of fluffy cloud. I’m hoping this magic will last for as long as they wish for
