1) CHOCOLATE DINNER AT HARDY’S BRASSERIE

Are you a secret chocolatier? Do you love baking cakes or creating chocolate sauces for your Sunday roast? Show off your best recipe and win a fabulous chocolate tasting for 2.

Description:
Have you ever invented a sweet or savoury recipe using one (or more) of our chocolates? Well, maybe it’s time to start. Email us at [email protected] or pop into the shop with your most mouth-watering chocolate recipe…a brownie, a succulent roast with a rich chocolate gravy… Surprise us!

The best recipe will win a tantalising chocolate tasting for two. As if that wasn’t enough, your creation will also be displayed and sold in our Motcomb street shop for a month! So hurry up and make sure we get your recipe before the end of Chocolate Week.

Hear tales of a life lived in chocolate, help him create a yummy chocolate bar using the world’s smallest chocolate factory and taste the results for yourself.

He creeps noiselessly through the dense rainforests of the Caribbean, slashing through the heavy vines in his path. He walks and walks, crossing rivers and barren lands. Crouching down and peering around the thick trunk of an ancient plantain tree, he squints upwards into the sunlight. AND THERE IT IS!

Summary:
Artist Rosalind Wyatt creates art out of chocolate.

Description:
Who said you need oils or watercolours to create a work of art? Why not use chocolate instead? Come to our King’s Road shop and admire the Chocalligraphy of artist Rosalind Wyatt and Rococo’s Sara Scodeller. Ask them to paint your favourite animal, or even to do a portrait of you.

12) CHOCALLIGRAPHY: CREATE YOUR EDIBLE PIECE OF ART (free event for children)

Who said you need oils or watercolours to create a work of art? Why not use chocolate instead!

Description:
Are you a budding Picasso? If so, then Rococo is the place to be. Swap your pencils for a chocolate-dipped paintbrush, let your creative juices flow and make your own edible piece of art. Draw a picture or write your name on edible paper – eat it there and then or take it home and be the envy of all your friends.
