Good luck to the guys. The ‘UK’ team consists of:
    2 Frenchmen
    1 Puerto Rican
    I Aussie

It would be be even better if one person on the team was actually British.

    Pastry Team UK Supporter

    Dear Yolande,

Great result for Pastry Team UK on Tues, well done chaps!

9th out of 19 teams and the highest ever achievement on the UK’s 3rd visit to this world class competition. They also received the award for the best ‘promotional campaign’ and received got the 2nd highest votes for their poster, so we should celebrate their achievement.

Just for the record the two team UK pastry chefs who qualified for the world cup in Paris last March were Team captain Chris Loder (British passport holder) and Javier Mercado (American) as with all other competitors they have lived in the country they represent for at least 5 years.

Perhaps you can suggest two British Pastry chefs who have the required skills and would like to try and qualify for Paris 2012?

    Another immigrant

spoken like a true brit Youlande. once again showing how many people in this country have their head up their arse. without the help of everyone who has come to britian and contributed to this country where would this society be. what next, oh thats right , why not cry about how immigrants are taking all the jobs away from all the ‘hard working british’
Give these guys a break i think they have probably done better than what you could have done. why over the last 7 years you did not do it.
