This year, Taste of Christmas, the most stylish foodie event of the festive season expects to see more than 30,000 visitors. Taking place this December 4-6, 2009 at ExCel, the annual festival of eating, drinking, shopping and all-round indulging has become one of the key events on the culinary calendar.The event is attended by a lively mix of chefs, critics, food-bloggers, food producers, wine lovers and passionate home-cooks. For all the visitors’ idiosyncrasies when it comes to food, it’s possible to identify a few of key foodie ‘style tribes’ that will be out in full force.The Fashion-Forward Foodie is always one Manolo-clad step ahead of the rest. Regular vodka, for example, is ‘soooo last year’. This year, the only tipple in their perfectly manicured hands is Camitz sparkling vodka. For sustenance, they go for Bougie Macaron’s gorgeous macaroons in a rainbow of pretty pastel colours and dreamy chocolates from Rococo.
